Frequently Asked Questions

We are a cash based only physical therapy company. So we do not take any insurances. This allows us to focus all our efforts on your care and not be restricted by what insurance does or does not cover. BUT WAIT... that doesn't mean you cannot submit your receipts from us to get reimbursed by your insurance company.
Once we provide you with your receipt, we will help you obtain a form from your insurance company. It is called a "Superbill" This quick form in addition to your receipts can be submitted to insurance. Depending on your policy you may get a portion of the bill reimbursed or it applied to your deductible.
We try to avoid thinking about individual visit costs. After we evaluate you, we decide how long it will take to get you back to doing the things you love. Based on this we will recommend a package that will involve a certain number of visits, phone calls, and home exercise programs that are all included. If you would prefer paying for individual visits they will be $185 for a 60 minute session. If you buy the package, everything will be included plus discounts.
A common myth is that PT stands for "pain and torture" or our profession uses the term "no pain, no gain". This is the farthest from the truth. Our main goal is to find solutions to the pain. There will be times that physical therapy will cause muscle soreness. We try to avoid any increase in pain at all cost, yet this sometimes is not possible.
We want you to be as comfortable as possible when you are with us. With that being said, wearing loose fitting gym clothes will allow us to effectively evaluate the body.
Routine physical therapy treatments will be 50 minutes long. For dry needling and Telehealth services, the treatment times will be 30 minutes.
No you do not. Firstly, there is something called direct access. Which means you are able to come see our profession first without ever needing to see your doctor. Some insurances require you to get a script from your doctor before they pay. But, since we are a fee for service company, that removes the need for any referral. Now, if you plan to submit to insurance for reimbursement, we may want to discuss the need of a referral.
We request that you give us at minimum, 24 hours notice if you will be unable to make your appointment. We will reschedule that visit for you. If you fail to give proper notice, there will be no refund for that visit and it will be considered a missed visit. Remember, we will teach and motivate you along the way, but you have to meet us half way and invest in your health.
