Meet Dr. Tyler Kinch

Tyler’s career has always centered on helping people move, perform and experience more from life. After earning his degree in athletic training from Grand Valley State University, he worked alongside athletes at the collegiate and high-school levels before earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo.

His experience has taken him through nearly every setting in physical therapy—from home health and skilled nursing to managing outpatient clinics. That broad background gives Tyler a deep understanding of the entire recovery process, from a major injury or surgery to returning to running, lifting, sports and everyday life.

Tyler founded Revolution Rehab after recognizing a gap in traditional healthcare. Too often, care ends when someone is technically “better,” but before they have regained the strength, confidence and capacity to live the life they want. His goal is to provide personalized care that helps people move beyond temporary fixes and become more capable for the long term.

Beyond The Clinic

Tyler understands the desire to stay active because movement is an important part of his own life. He is a marathon runner who also enjoys golf, hiking and spending time outdoors.

Outside the clinic, Tyler spends most of his time with his wife, Heather, and their kids, Saige, Emery and Cooper. Their family lives on a small hobby farm, where there is always another house project—or another animal—to keep things interesting.

FAQs

Common Questions About Physical Therapy

What makes Revolution Rehab different from traditional physical therapy?

We focus on finding the root cause instead of just treating symptoms.

Because we are a cash-based practice, we can spend more one-on-one time with you, take a deeper look at movement patterns, and create a personalized plan based on what your body actually needs.

Do you accept insurance?

Revolution Rehab is a private pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.

This allows for longer appointments, more personalized care, and treatment focused on results instead of insurance limitations.

We can provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted.

What conditions do you help with?

We help active adults and athletes dealing with:

-Neck pain

-Back pain

-Shoulder pain

-Hip pain

-Knee pain

-Running injuries

-Sports injuries

-Mobility restrictions

-Pain during lifting or training

-Chronic pain that keeps coming back

Do I need to stop working out or training?

Usually not.

Our goal is to help you stay active while addressing what is actually causing the problem.

What happens during the first visit?

Your first visit is focused on understanding what is actually causing the problem.

We review your symptoms, movement patterns, activity level, and goals before beginning treatment.

What types of treatment and services do you offer?

Treatment is always personalized based on what your body actually needs.

Depending on the situation, care may include:

-Physical therapy

-Sports rehab

-Dry needling

-Manual therapy

-Joint mobilization

-Cupping

-Running assessments

-Mobility and movement work

-Strengthening and corrective exercise

-Pre- and post-surgical rehab

-Recovery and performance guidance

The goal is always the same: help you move better, stay active, and get back to doing what you love..

How do I know if this is a good fit for me?

This is usually a good fit for people who want a more personalized approach and are tired of temporary fixes.

How do I get started?

The easiest way to get started is to schedule your evaluation https://site.therevolutionrehab.com/booking-page. Choose a time that works for you, and Tyler will take it from there.

What is a Clinical Roadmap?

Clinical Roadmap Evaluation ($97 | $215 Value)

This is a 60-minute, 1-on-1 clinical assessment. My goal is to identify the root cause of your pain and define the exact path required to return you to peak performance.

Our Approach We do not believe in "band-aid" solutions or single-visit fixes. Our practice is built on comprehensive, customized Plans of Care designed for sustainable recovery and long-term durability. We don't "sell sessions"—we build roadmaps to get you back to the activities you love.

What you receive:

A detailed clinical analysis of your movement and tissue health.

A clear, personalized strategy to eliminate your pain.

A roadmap designed specifically for your goals and lifestyle.

Do I need a referral?

No. Michigan allows you to begin physical therapy without a physician’s referral for up to 21 days or 10 treatment visits, whichever comes first.

If care continues beyond that limit, a referral may be required. Revolution Rehab is private-pay, so you can schedule your Clinical Roadmap Evaluation directly.
